Religious Education

St. Vincent DePaul offers children and adults classes to complete Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation. Most programs take 2 years to complete. In the first year, catechists build the foundational preparation and lay the groundwork to receive their sacraments. The most important thing this year is for students to foster a personal encounter with Christ and engage their families to extend the teachings beyond the classroom setting.

A student's second year is their milestone when they finally receive their sacrament. Students shift to intense preparation through retreats, prayer time, and service to the community. Each program has a different curriculum and age requirements, so it is crucial that you meet with the Religious Education Director, Sr. Alicia Lopez, prior to registration. Below are the programs offered at St. Vincent DePaul. Feel free to click on the desired program to learn more!
