Guidelines for the Use of the Facilities at St. Vincent DePaul Church

  1. Submit a Request Form: All groups must complete and submit a facility use request form in person at the parish office or online at least two weeks in advance of the desired date.
  2. Approval Required: Usage of church facilities is subject to approval by the pastor. Confirmation will be provided once the request is reviewed.
  3. Priority Scheduling: Parish-sponsored events and liturgical activities take precedence over other requests.
  4. Adhere to Time Slots: Groups must adhere to the approved time slots for their event, including setup and cleanup time.
  5. Respect the Space: Facilities must be left clean and in the same condition as they were found. Any damages or issues must be reported immediately to the parish office. Each group must appoint a person in charge of clean-up for each event. Cleaning supplies for volunteers are available in the school and in Centro San Vicente.
  6. No Unauthorized Access: Only the approved areas of the facility may be used. Access to other parts of the church or school is not permitted.
  7. Follow Church Policies: All activities must align with the mission and values of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. No inappropriate or non-parish-related activities will be allowed.
  8. Supervision Required: An adult leader or representative must be present at all times during the event to ensure proper use of the facilities. Children must be supervised at all times.
  9. No Alcohol or Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited on church property. Events where alcohol is served should be rare and must be approved in advance by the pastor for your specific event.
  10. Cancellation Notice: If the event is canceled, groups must notify the parish office as soon as possible to free up the space for other groups.
